Chris Cauthen first developed his love for the game of golf while playing with his father and three brothers growing up in Jefferson City, Tennessee.  His passion continued while playing on the Men’s Golf Team at Tennessee Technological University under the tutelage of PGA Professional Bobby Nichols.  Chris began his career in 1994 at Richland Country Club in Nashville as an Assistant Golf Professional.  He was elected for membership to the PGA in 1999.  In 2001, Chris was promoted to Head Golf Professional at Richland and served in that capacity until November of 2008.  While at Richland, he was twice awarded the Middle Tennessee Chapter Merchandiser of the Year.  Chris and his wife, Amy, live in Brentwood and have three children – Brady, Briley, and Cade. 

As the Head Golf Professional for Westhaven Golf Club, Chris Cauthen brings tremendous energy and enthusiasm for promoting the game of golf to the entire family.  From the development of a complete junior golf program to clinics for both men and women, Chris enjoys teaching the game to all ages and skill levels.  If you enjoy friendly competition, a top-tier tournament program will be available and designed for players of varying ability to compete on an equal basis.  Members can also expect the highest quality merchandise and knowledgeable service to be available to fulfill every golf need.  Chris and his staff have planned many exciting events, clinics and junior programs for the upcoming season.  Please contact Chris for more information regarding these programs.

Ladies Golf Program

Sandy Jaskol, a Class A LPGA Professional, will specialize in on growing the ladies golf program at Westhaven. A native of Willingboro, New Jersey, she picked up the sport at a very young age, completing successfully, even winning the New Jersey State Junior Girls Championship. After that, she went on to a successful two-sport career at Penn State University, also participating in field hockey. Jaskol also went on to a successful professional career for many years. Jaskol brings experience from some of the most prestigious clubs in the Northeast, such as Winged Foot Golf Club, Old Westbury Golf & Country Club, and most recently Maplewood Country Club.

Junior Golf Instruction Program

Ben Pellicani will head up Junior Golf Instruction, after spending years focused in collegiate and junior golf while serving as the Associate Head Men’s Golf Coach at Lipscomb University. Pellicani, a Class A PGA Professional, was named one of the Best Young Teachers in America in 2016 by Golf Digest Magazine. Previously, he was the Director and Head Coach of the Mike Bender Elite Golf Academy in Orlando, and also served as the Director of Instruction at the Chatwell Golf and Country Club in Severna Park, Maryland.
