Available Positions

Assistant Director, Food & Beverage

The Assistant Director of Food & Beverage will assist in management and facilitation of dining and beverage services to include; dining room, turn grille operation, beverage cart, and banquet execution.

Essential Duties:
  • Personalized member service.
  • Direct supervision of front of house staff, including turn grille & beverage cart staff.
  • Scheduling of all front of house employees, beverage cart and turn grille staff.
  • Recommends the hiring, counseling, and termination of employees.

Host

We are seeking a personable and organized Evening Host to join our team in the main dining room. This role is vital in providing exceptional guest experiences and ensuring smooth operations during evening service.

Essential Duties:
  • Guest Reception: Warmly greet and welcome members and their guests upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
  • Seating Management: Efficiently manage the seating chart to optimize table turnover and minimize wait times, while accommodating special requests.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between the dining room staff and kitchen to ensure timely service and address any guest needs or concerns.
 

Line Cook

The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and expediting great food by checking methods of cooking, portion sizes and garnishes, and ensuring a quality product.


Essential Duties:
  • Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served
  • Assists Chef/Kitchen Manager with set-up and preparation of food items for all food outlets on the property
  • Carefully follows standard recipes while preparing all assigned items
  • Assists the Chef/Kitchen Manager with conducting a monthly food/supplies inventory

Backwait

The Backwait provides exceptional service in the dining room and other F&B outlets of the Club through the delivery of food and clearing of completed plates and glasses.


Essential Duties:
  • Assures that all material used by server is clean and ready for daily operation.
  • Possesses knowledge of the position of each diner’s chair in the dining rooms and lounges.
  • Sets the outside line with under liner plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins and any other items needed for the delivering of food.
  • Sets tables in accordance with Troon Golf standards.

Accounts Payable Specialist

The AP Specialist is responsible for the overall management of all accounts payable, daily revenue reconciliation, and cash accounts controls. This is a part-time position with a tentative schedule of Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 9 am to 5 pm daily, with some flexibility on days and times.

Essential Duties:
  • Processing of invoices and AP statements
  • Processing new vendor information
  • Deposit of cash and checks

Associate Dress Code

Uniforms will be provided for all positions. Appearance standards for front of house staff include:

Gentlemen
  • Clean shaven
  • No ear, eye, lip, or nose rings
  • All tattoos covered up
  • Hair coloring allowed, but must be natural colors

Ladies
  • All tattoos covered up
  • Earrings - no earrings that hang down close to your shoulder
  • No eye, lip, or nose piercings
Hair
  • If it is past the shoulder, it needs to be put up into a ponytail or up in some sort of way
  • Coloring is allowed, but must be natural colors
